The app stays free
The desktop app will not turn into a paid product when the beta label comes off. If Undra ever offers anything paid, it will be a separate optional service, never the app itself and never access to your files.

Free now. Free after.
Undra is free during beta and will remain free after beta. Not a trial. It runs on your computer with the AI you already have, so there are no servers to pay for and no bill.

The commitment
We will not start charging for the app.
We will not lock your files
Access to your local files will not be placed behind a subscription or an Undra account.
No ads, tracking, or data sales
Undra does not fund the free app with ads, behavioral tracking, or the sale of your data.
Questions, answered plainly
No pricing puzzle.
Will Undra start charging when beta ends?
No. The Windows desktop app will remain free after beta.
Do I need an Undra account?
No. Undra opens workspaces directly from your computer, and the app never requires an account. AI providers have their own sign-in or account requirements, and optional community features on this website (like commenting) may use a separate sign-in - none of that touches the app.
Does “free” mean Undra uses my data another way?
No. There are no ads or behavioral tracking, and Undra does not sell your data. Read the privacy policy for the exact details.
What happens to my work if I stop using Undra?
Your work remains in ordinary files on your device. You can back it up, sync it with tools you choose, or open it without an Undra subscription.
